Mountainous helicopter solution

If the Matterhorn mountain in Switzerland remains a challenge to climbers, construction work on the mountain presents all sorts of problems. The Hornli hut at the foot of the mountain's eastern side was built in 1880, and it is being replaced, while the neighbouring Matterhorn Berghaus (mountain hostel) will be restored. All the work is on extremely steep ground and under very narrow site conditions, while both facilities remain open to the public.
