METHOD FOR COMPUTING REGRESSION FUNCTION FOR FLOW RATE ESTIMATION OF RIVER BASIN IN MOUNTAINOUS DISTRICT, METHOD FOR SELECTING THE FUNCTION AND METHOD FOR ESTIMATING ANNUAL AVERAGE FLOW RATE OF RIVER BASIN IN MOUNTAINOUS DISTRICT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and accurately estimate a flow rate of a river in a mountainous district in which flow rate measurement is not performed, by altering a conventional river flow rate estimation method based on a basin ratio.;SOLUTION: Based on a topographical map on the market, heights of investigation river basins (a plurality of basin targets) for each of altitude zones and areas for each of altitude zones are inputted, a three-dimensional basin topographical correlation area Aeq and a three-dimensional basin topological correlation height Heq catching basin topology in a three-dimensional manner with the altitudes and the areas as input data are calculated independently of each other and uniquely, and a basin topographical slope Seq is calculated. A regression function of a river flow rate including at least the Aeq, Heq, Seq in parameters is induced. The regression function is applied to compute an estimate flow rate at a spot where flow rate measurement is not performed. Further, the regression function is applied to estimate a river flow rate and a verification error rate is calculated, thereby evaluating whether or not the regression function is appropriate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
