Rapid storm pipe damage repair

French wastewater authority SIARE needed to repair 110m of storm water pipe following a collapse caused by material fatigue, and opted to use Sekisui SPR Europe's spiral-wound SPRTM technology for the job. The box-shaped storm water pipe runs 150mm to 1.5m below the Rue d'Enghien in the city of Eaubonne, a suburb of Paris. One way to repair the damage would have been to excavate and re-build the storm water pipe, but digging up the pavement is expensive, and could have caused structural damage to surrounding properties.
