Although the CE Share Index has been relatively calm between weeks 16 and 21, with the CET Index down by just 0.44%, contractors have experienced a certain amount of volatility. Most notably, Bauer Group's share price leapt up by 49.14% over the period in question, outstripping its growth figure of 8.74% in the previous period -weeks 12 to 16. This jump reflects Bauer's strong results for the first quarter of 2017, in which it recorded an 18.9% like-for-like increase in sales revenues to €455.7 million, and earnings before tax of €8.5 million - a significant improvement on the previous year's €4.8 million.
