Cycles Times Trimmed up to 12 Percent

The introductory lineup of Case D Series excavators includes the CX210D, CX250D, CX300D, and CX350D, as well as a long-reach CX250D LR. Hydraulic system upgrades enable the units to attain cycle times up to 12 percent faster than predecessors. An electronically controlled pump, a larger control valve, and multiple sensors combine with the company's Intelligent Hydraulic System and its four integrated control systems. Those four systems are: Boom Economy Control (BEC), which reduces rpm by using gravity during boom down and swing; Auto Economy Control (AEC), which lowers rpm during idle and automatically shuts down the engine after a preset idle time; Swing Relief Control (SWC), which reduces hydraulic power at the swing start; and Spool Stroke Control (SSC), which adjusts hydraulic pressure during digs. SSC also re-uses hydraulic fluid whenever possible to automatically improve cycle times and efficiency. D Series excavators are Tier 4 Final and provide up to 14 percent greater fuel efficiency.
