In the 2015 resale market for articulated dump trucks (ADTs), average prices across all size classes drop consistently year over year. Using data from the first two months of this year, EquipmentWatch broke down all resale prices of all ADTs by manufacturer and model year. The price of an artic follows the expected decline of depreciation as the age of the unit increases. The average resale vehicle produced in 2013 currently costs around $426,100, decreasing for each consecutive year of use to just over $40,000 for equipment produced 20 years ago or more.
