One of Schubert's largest-ever automated packaging lines, based on a system designed for packing bags of crisps in the UK, is being used at the Smith's Snackfood Company in Australia.rnThe huge line, developed by IPS, Schubert's international packaging subsidiary, comprises ten automated packing stations. Each has a pair of robot arms equipped with a vacuum gripper tool for picking and placing packs into shipping cartons at around 1600 bags of Smith's crisps a minute.
