Micro pellets have been introduced into the puffed cakes family from Limagrain Cereales Ingredients (LCI), which now includes multi-cereal, maize and potato pellets. "These light chips have a major advantage over all their rivals," explains Patricia Panel-Dusseaux, marketing manager. "They are expanded at high temperature in a mould and, hence, contain no cooking fats but remain just as crunchy and melt-in-the-mouth."
