From semi-skilled to skilled worker BetonQuali:Information and Qualification Platform

Der Fachkräftemangel und die Digitalisierung sind zwei der Trends, die die Arbeitswelt in den nächsten Jahren vor enorme Herausforderungen stellen werden. Genau an diesen beiden Punkten setzt das vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) und vom Europäischen Sozialfonds geförderte Forschungsprojekt „BetonQuali: Informations- und Qualifizierungsplattform" im Rahmen des Programms „Digitale Medien in der Beruflichen Bildung" an. Hierbei hat es sich die Betonindustrie zur Aufgabe gemacht, eine neue Qualifizierungsmöglichkeit für an- und ungelernte Beschäftigte aus der Betonbranche zu entwickeln und zu erproben. Ziel ist es, diese Beschäftigungsgruppe unter anderem mithilfe digitaler Medien, berufsbegleitend weiterzu-qualifizieren und bis hin auf den Erwerb des Berufsabschlusses zum Verfahrensmechaniker/-in der Steine-Erden-Industrie (Fachrichtungen Transportbeton und vorgefertigte Betonerzeugnisse) vorzubereiten. In zeitlich und inhaltlich überschaubaren und in sich abgrenzbaren Teilschritten, sogenannten Teilqualifikationen, werden arbeitsplatzbezogene Lernmodule absolviert, die die inhaltlichen Vorgaben der Ausbildungsordnungen der jeweiligen Berufe berücksichtigen. Am Ende dieser Qualifizierungsmaßnahme können somit zwei Gewinner ausgemacht werden: Auf der einen Seite die Teilnehmer selbst, welche sich mit Fleiß und Motivation neues Wissen angeeignet und zum Facharbeiter fortgebildet haben, auf der anderen Seite das Unternehmen und die gesamte Branche, die dadurch über mehr qualifiziertes Fachpersonal verfügen und somit zukünftig vor geringeren Herausforderungen stehen werden.%Shortage of skilled workers and digitalization are two of the trends that will present the working world with enormous challenges. These are precisely the two issues addressed by the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF), and the research project BetonQuali: Information and Qualification Platform sponsored by the European Social Fund within the scope of the program Digital Media in Education and Training. Here, the concrete industry has undertaken the task of developing and testing a new possibility for qualifying semi-skilled and unskilled workers in the concrete industry. The aim is to support this group of employees in their aim for further qualification, to include support by digital media, enabling them to take proficiency examinations as process mechanics in the non-minerals industry, in the special fields of ready-mixed concrete and precast products. In partial steps clearly organized and defined in terms of time and content - so-called partial qualifications -work-related learning modules are completed, taking into account the content-related requirements of the regulations applicable to the respective vocations. At the end of this qualification measure, there will thus be two winners: on the one hand the participant himself, who has acquired new knowledge through effort and motivation and who has gained qualification as a skilled worker - and, on the other, the employer and the entire industry that have in this way gained more qualified skilled workers and will therefore have to confront fewer challenges in the future.
