Communications must improve says Maersk's ceo

Maersk Line's ceo Eivind Kolding has appealed to shippers for a more timely and accurate flow of information in order to improve standardisation, including electronic communications. Speaking recently at the European Shippers' Council's 2007 Shipper Forum conference in Lisbon, he highlighted the fact that approximately 50% of Maersk Line's B/Ls still needed to be corrected prior to printing, which, presumably, is the same for other carriers.
