WBCG addresses Trans Cunene Corridor's issues

The Walvis Bay Corridor Group (WBCG) and transport officials from both Namibia and Angola recently met to discuss how border issues might be improved to raise the capacity of the Trans Cunene Corridor (TCC). It links the port of Walvis Bay with southern Angola (Lubango).rnIn a series of meetings information was gathered on a whole range of tariff and non-tariff issues, such as security, infrastructure, labour, customs procedures, for example, affecting the smooth flow of trade along the corridor. Action will now be taken to address the main barriers.
