The expansion of developing new techniques is the main characteristic for the computer technology field. The expansion of such new techniques needs to develop new methods to ensure the secrecy and integrity of information exchanged over computer networks. The Cryptography and Steganography are two important information security methods, so it is important to search for new techniques to develop these methods. The DNA-based technique is one of the very recent techniques that can be used to develop the Cryptography and Steganography. This technique is based on the central dogma of the molecular biology process which converts the DNA form of information to RNA form then to Protein form. The current research introduces a proposed algorithm which simulates the biological functions of central dogma processes and allows integrating the Cryptography and Steganography. Such integration has the advantage of being able to transmit a highly secured message between a sender and receiver. In this case, an eavesdropper is unable to discover or understand the transmitted message. The process of cipher/decipher of the proposed algorithm is similar to the DNA transcription, splicing and RNA translation of the real organisms. Also, this algorithm is evaluated by comparing it with some other encryption algorithms.
