New Music Festival at Cal State Fullerton

The 8th Annual New Music Festival at California State University in Fullerton, California, USA was held 18-21 March 2009. The festival was directed by Pamela Madsen and presented works by composer/flautists Anne La Berge, Jane Rigler, and Nicole Mitchell, as well as the Paul Dresher and Joel Davel Duo playing quadrachord, percussion, and electronics with violinist Karen Bentley and pianist Lisa Moore. The festival also included a composer/performer symposium and the latest presentation of the International Women's Electroacoustic Listening Room Project, the latter featuring works by Diamonda Galas, Anne La Berge, Jane Rigler, and Pamela Z.
