摘要

Our study presents a reliable walk analysis protocol used with a 3D accelerometer on healthy dogs to objectively describe and quantify the walk according to spatiotemporal and kinetic parameters. Among 14 parameters studied, SI and RI can be used as trustworthy factors for clinicians to detect even a very slight limping. These significant various parameters are essential to assume the subject as a healthy dog. Moreover, fcccelerometry permits to display particularly dog's developed power depending on their morpho-type and to compare their output conditioned by their size. Finally, a key interest of this study is undoubtedly to assess the ability of dogs for sports.
