摘要

In this work, we present a strong form meshfree collocation method for frictional contact problems. Frictional contact constraints are included in the strong form force balance equation as part of Neumann boundary conditions. The equation is then directly discretized with the precomputed derivative operators obtained from moving least-squares approximation using Taylor expansion of the displacement field through point-wise computations at collocation points. The accuracy and effectiveness of the method are examined via several benchmark frictional and frictionless contact problems using non-uniformly distributed collocation points. Numerical results are also compared with analytical and finite element solutions. (C) 2019 Elsevier B.Y. All rights reserved.
