Enforcement and prosecution of the individuals who sell counterfeit goods online proves to be a complicated task. This is because the companies and individuals who sell these sham products are often difficult to trace and can easily move their location. Trademark law is certainly at a crossroads, and the conflicting judicial interpretation is further evidence of the need for clarification of the law.
