摘要

This paper describes the proposal and implementation of a material model in the commercial software Abaqus. The material model is capable of simulating progressive damage of composite materials. Progressive damage simulation is based on a stiffness matrix degradation and the 3D Puck failure criterion. Statistics of the input material parameters are simulated. The predictive capability of the material model was tested by a comparison of the numerical simulations to the tensile test of a laminate.
