Sun Microsystems Inc. might want to study the history of Apple Computer Inc., because there are some parallels between where Apple was a decade ago and where Sun is today that can provide a valuable lesson. While Sun concentrates its resources on getting the Java standard it wants, it is failing to push the Java community to deliver much-needed technology to the market.
