Design of a two-axes active electromagnetic sidestick actuating system

摘要

The most important characteristics of a two-axes active sidestick to be as a manipulator for flight simulator, simulator, aircraft and other applications are presented. The design is based on an electromagnetic actuation system that allows variable force/displacement characteristic as a function of the operating conditions of the controlled system. The small dimensions and the simple construction together with a complete independence of the force from the displacement, are some of the advantages of the proposed device when compared with other that of a flat linear induction motor.
