Communicating in Ministry and Mission: An Introduction to Pastoral and Evangelizing Communication

Probably thousands of seminarians and religious communication professionals have used Franz-Josef Eilers's textbook on pastoral communication since its first edition in 2003. Eilers writes that the book "has developed into a source in Study and Formation for Communication in Ministry and Mission," growing from the anchor of a single theology course "into a full academic MA program at the Pontifical University of Santo Tomas, Manila" (p. 12). The fourth edition of the book updates content, particularly to keep pace with technical developments. "The section on Evangelizing communication has been partly re-written to more clearly indicate the communication dimension of the field" (p. 12)
