Toll and trouble over fee hike to cross the Humber Bridge

Hgv toll fees on the Humber Bridge could rise to £40.60 from £36.60 for a return trip after an 18-month price freeze comes to an end. The Humber Bridge Board launched a consultation into proposed toll increases that was due to end earlier this month. But following complaints that it had not adequately publicised the consultation, objections can continue to be received until 31 January.
