RTITB instructor register aims to boost pass rates

The regulatory body for workplace transport training, the RTITB, is launching a register of HGV instructors, which it hopes will help boost UK pass rates. The register will be introduced on 1 January when the DVSA's responsibility for the old register ends (CM 30 June). RTITB MD Laura Nelson told CM it would be shelving its register of professional instructors as a consequence.
