FATF praises Malaysian anti-m/l efforts

FATF, the Financial Action Task Force that sets global anti-money laundering standards, recently described Malaysia’s legal framework as ‘robust’, and noted that it has largely up-to-date statutory instruments, and effective policies, institutional arrangements and implementation mechanisms against money laundering and terrorism financing.
