Hackers arrested as Polish police clamp down on cybercrime

POLISH police arrested foursuspected hackers as part of acoordinated strike againstcybercrime.Those arrested are believed to beamong the most active cybercriminalsin the country. They are believed tobe involved in a wide variety ofcybercrimes, including:Malware distribution: investigatorsestablished that two of the suspectswere involved in the distribution ofmalware, such as Remote AccessTools and mobile malware. Themalware was distributed throughphishing emails impersonatinggovernment institutions. Over 1,000people across Poland are believedto have fallen victim to this particularscam.
