Parts Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ, Ⅴ, Ⅵ, Ⅶ, Ⅷ, Ⅸ, Ⅹ, Ⅺ, Ⅻ and XIII in this series on ITMA'99 Paris, published in the previous thirteen issues of COLOURAGE, have dealt with machines for preparatory processing & bleaching, batchwise dyeing, continuous dyeing, printing, finishing stenters, shrinking machines, relaxation shrinking machines & decatising machines, shearing machines & singeing machines, raising machines & brushing machines, emerizing machines, coating machines, calendering machines and new mechanical softening/finishing machines (rope form) for woven fabrics. Part XIV deals with machines for novel mechanical softening/finishing of fa bric in open width. Similar to those described in the last installment, these machines give very special and attractive 'high grade, chemical-free green' finishes to meet the demands of present day quality textile goods market
