Tesla Motors, an emerging automaker based in Palo Alto, California, unveiled its Supercharger network for battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in September and revealed the locations of the first six Supercharger stations. This initial network will allow the Tesla Model S BEV to travel long distances with fast charging throughout California, parts of Nevada and Arizona.
