When it comes to starting off a year, (let alone a Real Millennium), there's no doubt the motor industry knows how to kick-start itself into action better than most. And in January 2001 it was the turn of the Brussels International Motor Show - which alternates with Amsterdam every year as Europe's key commercial vehicle event - to provide the platform for the manufacturers to set out their stalls for the 12 months to come.
