A big "well done" to the team at Go Plant. It's been a whole year since the company opened a new depot in Barnsley and... well, to last a whole year in the current business climate is something of an achievement in itself, but it's also worth noting an emerging trend - the growth in operated hire. Go Plant reports that six further drivers have been appointed in the last year, bringing the total "operated" to 34 out of a 42 vehicle fleet. Naturally, Go Plant regional manager, John Wild, is chuffed and is keen to show potential new customers around the refurbished facility. "We also made some structural changes that have enabled us to install an open-plan control room and we now have space for up to fifty vehicles complete with a workshop facility that can accommodate eleven vehicles," he commented.
