The Bioelektra Group is a global company implementing investment projects for recycling municipal waste. Developed by the company's engineers, the RotoSTERIL technology uses mechanical and thermal waste treatment processes and ensures a 95 percent recycling of waste, a high economic efficiency and an environmentally safe production process. The technology is based on a pollution-free treatment of mixed wastes in autoclaves, which makes it possible to sterilise the waste to separate the biodegradables and the mineral fraction of organic matter from it. The main component of the technology is compact autoclave units that are capable of automatically sterilising various types of municipal solid waste (MSW) using steam and pressure in a rotary autoclave. The process occurs at 154-160 ℃ at 5.5-6 bars for 90 minutes with continuous agitation.
