Regional director-the southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority-West Bank (SLFPA-WB) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of regional director. The responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting in the development of flood control projects; approval of plans for the construction of flood control projects; meeting with elected and flood control agency officials, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; appearance before legislative committees on proposed legislation and projects; and development of overall administrative structure and personnel and staffing requirements for operations under the authority of the SLFPA-WB. Position holds responsibility for overall management and administration of levee districts under the authority of the SLFPA-WB.
