New Research Center Focuses on Concrete, Sustainability

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), in collaboration with the Portland Cement Association and the Ready Mixed Concrete Research and Education Foundation, has established a research center that will focus on concrete and its ability to further the goals of sustainable development. To be known as the Concrete Sustainability Hub, the center will address the environmental implications of concrete's use in construction projects.
