Cornell University's Milstein Hall is more than just a new building for the school's College of Architecture, Art, and Planning. Distinguished by a dramatic cantilever, exposed hybrid trusses, a domelike internal slab, and other innovative features, the 47,000 sq ft facility itself also serves as a teaching tool on structural framing and building design.
