Georgia's C in Infrastructure

Georgia's infrastructure has failed to improve over the past five years. In a new assessment, the 2014 Report Card for Georgia's Infrastructure, the Georgia Section awarded the state's infrastructure an overall grade of C, the same grade it meted out in 2009. The lowest grade was a D , which went to the state's dams and mass transit systems. The highest grade, a B, was given to Georgia's energy and rail systems. Georgia's growing population combined with cutbacks in infrastructure funding resulted in many of the low grades.
