高潮災害リスクに備える: 台風接近時からの防災行動の考察

高潮浸水想定区域図の作成過程で算出される強風•高潮計算データを活用し、強風を考慮した高潮災害時の事前の防災行動の日米比較や、複数の台風経路を考慮した避難に充当できる時間の試算を行い、当該検討の有用性を確認した。%We estimated the amount of time that may be needed for safe evacuation in consideration of a typhoon taking different routes using data on strong winds and storm surges that were produced for the development of a storm-surge inundation risk map. We also compared the cases of Japan and the United States for disaster prevention action prior to storm-surge disasters with strong winds using the same set of data. The results confirmed the significance of this study in improving disaster preparedness.
