Cinema Expo International's 15th Anniversary event drew to a close on June 29th in Amsterdam. The consensus was that this year's show was one of the best ever with a lively mix of screenings, seminars, keynote speeches and a busy trade show. At just under 1,200 attendees from 54 countries numbers were slightly up on the previous year and a good sign that Cinema is ready to bounce back after Europe's poor box office showing in 2005. As usual the Show was well supported by the major distributors with BVI, Fox, Sony, Warner Bros, and UIP all screening new titles and extensive forthcoming product reels cut specially for the Cinema Expo audience.
