CNPC Beefs up Energy Cooperation in Central Asian Nations

China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and KazMunaiGaz National Co, Kazakhstan's national oil company, signed an agreement on construction and operation of the Phase Ⅱ of the China-Kazakhstan in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, on August 18. The signature was witnessed by Chinese President Hu Jintao and his Kazak counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev.
