This a competition organized by the Section Chemical Research (SCR) of the New Swiss Chemical Society (NSCS) for the best informal essay on chemical research land its application for the benefit of mankind. The competition is intended to encourage students at the University and College Classes with their chemistry or biology teacher to write about recent research in chemistry and its applications. The essay competition is intended for non-chemists, having some general knowl-edge of science. It should be short, interesting and captivating.
