Single-crystal structures and optical properties of the nonlinear optical KTiOPO_4-Type materials K_0.55Li_0.45TiOPO_4 and K_0.54Li_0.46TiOAsO_4 prepared by molten salt ion-exchange

Single crystals of the KTiOPO_4 (KTP) Type phases K_0.55Li_0.45TiOPO_4 and K_0.54Li_0.46TiOAsO_4 have been prepared by molten salt ion-exchange reactions form their potassium-containing precursors. After ion-exchange, both phases maintain the distinctive distorted TiO_6 octahedra seen in KTiOPO_4 and KTiOAsO_4.
