摘要

Chronic Myeloid leukemia (CML) was a main disease shown to be consistently associat- ed with the cytogenetic abnormality now known as the Philadelphia (Ph') chromosome. The abnormality usually involves a reciprocal translocation between chromosomes 9 and 22, and more than 95/100 of CML patients and 13/100 of acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) patients have this defect.
