Eighty years have seen solid growth of the journal: development, overcoming, and creative inspiration has been a difficult path. The first issue of the journal was published in July 1932 in Kharkov as the industrial-technical, scientific and technico-economic journal Khimicheskoe Mashinostroenie (Chemical Engineering).
