Statistics tell us that in our society 50% of all marriages end in divorce. This is a sad story, but it is a fact one should face and deal with, rather than ignore. Knowing the chances of success of any undertaking in life might help us to survive. Since marriage is one of the major commitments we make in our lives—having and raising children is another—it behooves us to take a close look at the consequences should our best intentions be insufficient to keep the marriage viable.
