The other available 747-400 P-to-F conversion program is offered by Bedek Aviation Group, the conversion arm of Israel Aerospace Industries. It has received just over half as many orders as Boeing's competing program, but at present has a healthier backlog, with two units still awaiting conversion for Taiwan-based EVA Airways, and three recently ordered by an unidentified customer. Cargo Facts believes, but has not been able to confirm, that this customer is China's HNA Group, which intends to place the freighters in its Shanghai-based all-cargo subsidiary Yangtze River Express.
