Farnair finds the growth it wants - in Papua New Guinea. Switzerland- based Farnair's attempt to find business outside of stagnant Europe is bearing fruit, according to sales director Christian Degouy. The express airline has signed an ACMI contract for one ATR-42F and one ATR-72F with the national carrier of Papua New Guinea, Air Niugini. "We couldn't really have got further away from Europe," laughs Degouy. "But the crews love it. We fly to 20 destinations in quite challenging conditions - unpaved runways and very remote.
