I would like to respond to a letter from Wendy Cairns about continuous cruising. Wendy, don't be put off by the thoughts of a small group of our boating fraternity. Like you I have thought of doing the same when I retire. There are small groups of people everywhere who would find fault with anything, but luckily they are in the minority.rnIf you wish to spend your time around the canals and rivers of this beautiful island, then go for it. Ninety percent of the people you meet onrnand around the waterways will be good. The other 10 percent - just shrug them off.
