Anne and olly husar were introduced to the idea of living afloat after a surprise birthday holiday on a narrowboat. Because they love travelling and enjoyed it so much, the following years were spent designing and commissioning a 70ft sailaway.rnOily was a cabinet-maker and woodcarver so the boat needed to be near his workshop for the fit-out. A 60-ton crane hoisted it into their garden and two years of hard work followed. Craned out again rather heavier than when it arrived. Wandering Snail awaited its travels on a peaceful mooring in Cambridgeshire.
