Cromford triple boost

It's All Been happening on the Cromford recently. First the canal gained a Blue Plaque at High Peak Junction, recognising its pivotal role in the Derwent Valley. Secondly, dredging has begun on a 1.3-mile section from Cromford Wharf to Leawood Pumphouse, with a ￡28,000 grant to the Friends of the Cromford Canal for a historic boat to operate. Finally, English Heritage has designated Butterley Tunnel's underground loading wharf as a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
