The view that "It's been a good start, but there's work to be done" seemed to also be the message coming out of an evidence session set up by the All Party Parliamentary Committee for Waterways as part of an Inquiry into the Canal & River Trust's progress. However, much of the meeting at the Houses of Parliament concerned the future - in particular the possible takeover of the Environment Agency river navigations including the Thames.
