Few issues highlight America's political divisions as sharply as that of Washington's role in business. Sure enough, responses to "Has Government Crossed the Line?" (businessweek.com, June 12) stake out positions at both ends of the debate-not much middle ground here. Many decried the "arrogance" of bailed-out companies opposing more oversight. Others spoke against the new "intru-siveness," with some saying it stifles innovation.
