Buttrell: True. We operate some 340 helicopters and about 70 fixed-wing aircraft, conduct more than 275 emergency flights daily and transport more than 100,000 patients annually. To do this, we employ 7,000 people, of whom 1,400 are pilots and approximately the same number are nurses and paramedics. Our teams are assigned to 330 bases throughout the U.S. A reason people might not recognize our name is because we operate through major subsidiaries - Air Evac Lifeteam, Med-Trans, Reach and Guardian Flight - and these, in turn, oversee many local subsidiaries with a wide variety of names. We also have AirMed International, which operates globally. With the exception of AirMed, Reach and Air Evac, we rarely put the company's brand on our aircraft because all health care is local. AMGH is a holding company and doesn't have any frontline employees.
