Positive case for Leeds trolleybuses

I am sure that the millions of passengers who travel regularly every year on articulated trolleybuses in places such as Arnhem, Geneva, Lyon, Rome, Salzburg and Zurich would not agree with Gordon Brooke (You Write last month) that articulated single-deckers are 'the work of the devil and the most unpleasant form of transport ever'. Mr Brooke quotes his experience of a recent journey on a bus travelling along the New Generation Transport trolleybus corridor in Leeds as only taking 20min. He may find it interesting to look at FirstGroup's comments on the NGT proposals, which could be considered a counter proposal to NGT but contain material that can be read as supporting the NGT concept.
